GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

Our fiscal year ends September 30th, so that grants are awarded for the FY October through September.

In general, we issue our Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in January preceding the grant year (that is, the same calendar year).  Letters of Intent generally must be received in the February preceding the grant year and Applicants who submit a letter of intent must attend a mandatory Technical Assistance training session held in February.  The first submission of an application generally must be received in March preceding the grant year (that is, in the same calendar year).  After initial review by the Agency, applicants will have an opportunity to submit revised complete applications in April.

Prospective applicants may wish to review the RFP issued in January 2008 for grants covering the FY beginning October 1, 2008 and ending September 30, 2009 (MS Word), for programs funded under Title III-B, D & E of the Older Americans Act.
