What is the OOA program?

OOA provides services to older adults with developmental disabilities. OOA instructors provide opportunities for clients to enjoy activities in the community with non-disabled peers, while developing relationships that are long-lasting and supportive.

   Who qualifies?

Participants in the program are referred directly by the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation.  Instructors / companions are hired by the Agency on Aging.
